In this edition the participation of IDAE in GENDER 2024 the reference fair for the renewable energy and energy efficiency, coincides with the celebration of its 40th anniversary. ‘Energy for change’ is the motto chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the IDAEtoday converted into the PRTR’s leading fund manager for the energy transition in Spain.
He Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) will be present at the fair GENDER 2024which will be held in Madrid from February 6 to 8, with a stand of Institute for Energy Diversification and Conservation (IDAE), starring the renewable energy value chain. The amplification of the presence of this organism depends on MITECOwhich chairs the organizing committee of the fair, also coincides with its celebration 40 birthday.
The stand, which will be located in pavilion 10 of IFEMA under the motto Energy for change, aims to facilitate the meeting and exchange of ideas to continue to make progress in this new industrial, economic and social era, which represents the world ecological transition in Spain.
The facility will have an agora where a complete program will be developed, which in addition to events that will address the main keys to the transformation of the energy system, will also serve to to identify and seize all opportunities of the ecological transition. Pioneering experiences in the field of the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency and information about this helplines of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), managed by the IDAE –1 for every 7 euros of the first phase– will complete the content of a space where the renewable energy value chain will be central.
Likewise, the facility will have that too a room with screens where citizens can identify the projects activated by the different ones PRTR assistance and the extent of its implementation.
The strategic commitment to the national sustainable value chain, innovative energy-saving technologies in large industrial projects, the use of self-consumption and the exhibition of success stories in the field of storage and recycling of wind turbine blades will share space with new energy vectors that Spain is expected to leadsuch as renewable hydrogen or floating offshore wind.
IDAE is the leading PRTR fund manager for the energy transition in Spain
As a government agent, the IDAE analyzes and promotes those areas of renewable input and energy efficiency which, because it is strategic, need special encouragementas the available technologies are not yet mature enough for commercial exploitation or there is a demand for innovative solutions.
In addition, the stand will have a space dedicated to the seal Next generation. Developed in the context of LOSS by renewable energyrenewable hydrogen and storage (PERTE EHRA), this identification will certify the work of those entities and companies that, with projects on the ground, contribute to the development of an economic, industrial and public fabric that will make Spain ready for an emission-free 2050 taking advantage of all the opportunities that the ecological transition offers.
