YOUNG PEOPLE, CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS A “FOREST ME SCHOOL”. VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING THE IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION “INSIDE THE FORESTS”, WORKSHOPS AND THEATER PERFORMANCES
The activities of Forestry School are officially launched at the headquarters of the AEM Foundation, involving 40 classes from primary and secondary schools in the Municipality of Milan.
From February 8th to April 19th, AEM Foundation and its AEMuseum will host the educational activities of Forestry School for the aforementioned classes. The project, promoted by Forestami and edited by North Milan Parkaims to train and educate young people through various educational activities, including the immersive exhibition “Inside the Forests”workshops and theatrical performances.
The objective of Scuola Forestami is to involve young people, children and young people together with teachers and school institutions in the process of urban transformation carried out by Forestami, the urban forestation to increase the natural capital of the Metropolitan City of Milan.

develop thoughts: these are the actions that Scuola Forestami wants
transmit in meetings with young people along this path of discovery of forests, in forests, with forests… to learn what forests can teach today’s society so that tomorrow’s society is more livable and sustainable”, commented Enrico CalvoProject Manager di Forestami.

The activities of the AEM Foundation
Thanks to the support of the AEM Foundation, two main activities will take place at the headquarters in Piazza Po 3 in Milan: “Inside the forests Lab” e “Inside the Forest Theatre”.
«Training new generations on respect for our Planet and its biodiversity has always been one of the educational tasks of the AEM Foundation», declared the president of the AEM Foundation-A2A Group Alberto Martinelli. «Which since its establishment has developed educational paths, cultural and laboratory activities, in order to bring the world of schools closer to environmental problems and, in particular, from 2015 onwards to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda».
The Forestami School activities were inaugurated today with the participation of 42 students from two classes of the Gino Capponi Comprehensive Institute.

Inside the forests
With regard to “Inside the forests Lab”, the children will explore the immersive exhibition with the scientific advice of Giorgio Vacchiano, discovering biodiversity and raising awareness of the importance of protecting forests.
“Inside the Forest Theatre” includes two special days at the AEM Foundation Auditorium, during which students of lower and upper secondary schools will face the challenges ofAgenda 2030.
After preliminary work in class, they will attend a theatrical reading inspired by the story “The man who planted trees” by Jean Giono, edited by Collettivo Alta Marea, followed by a reflection on the topics covered.
Thanks to the partnership with Aipin – Italian Association for Naturalistic Engineering – Lombardy section, the “nature-based solutions” and the benefits they can bring to cities.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge upon reservation until April 19th
