Since 2019 Plastic Free Onlus has been committed to fight pollution from plastic, after having consolidated a network of over a thousand representatives and having involved two hundred and sixty thousand volunteers in Italy, but also beyond national borders, arriving in eleven different countries on four continents. The objectives for the future of the association are already well defined.

The latest eco-sustainable initiatives

For almost five years Plastic Free Onlus is committed to combating environmental pollution through the organization of initiatives That they protect the environment. Appointments – even very popular ones – which aim to clean green areas or beaches, increasingly threatened by human recklessness towards the territory. THE goals achieved in the last four years are considerable and the numerical data collected also demonstrates this. Almost 4 million kilos of plastic and waste collected, in addition to the rescue of two hundred turtles from certain death, through the active involvement of two hundred and fourteen Municipalities, of which more than half were also rewarded for the virtuous goals achieved.

Not only that, because Plastic Free Onlus in addition to looking at environment protection also looks towards generations that will come through a awareness campaign to respect the environment intended for Italian schools. Young people are the future and, therefore, it is important that they become aware of the risks to which the environment is exposed and the appropriate attitudes to undertake and promote to safeguard the ecosystem and, not in the background, the biodiversity.

The proceeds from the fundraising – we read on the platform – will be used to purchase the equipment and merchandising necessary for the next events environmental cleanliness and awareness. But the objectives that Plastic Free Onlus has set itself go beyond community initiatives. In fact, the association aims to inaugurate at least two other locations within the year and achieve communication campaigns to identify new representatives and volunteers who want to contribute to the initiative.
