THE NATIONAL FEDERPARCHI SYSTEM PRESENTS THE FIRST TRAINING FOR THE QUALIFICATION OF AUXILIARY PARK GUARD. OBJECTIVE: TRAIN QUALIFIED STAFF FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES IN PROTECTED NATURE AREAS
In the context of the activities of National system Federparchithe first training for the qualification of is presented Assistant park ranger. This course is intended for operators territorial valorization and the environmental protection, with the aim of training qualified personnel for support services in protected natural areas. Participants in the course can support the park authorities in the territorial coordinations present in the different regions
EUROPARC talia – Federparchithe Italian Federation of Parks and Nature Reserves, represents and coordinates the management bodies of Italian protected areas.
The Federation proposes to:
– Resolving critical operational issues in environmental protection monitoring;
– Standardizing territorial valorization activities aimed at safeguarding biodiversity and ecosystems at national level;
– Support the territorial surveillance and promotion services already present in the parks, oases, reserves and marine protected areas through the territorial coordination of the different regions.
To this end, Federparchi established the Federparchi National System for Territorial Improvement and Environmental Protection. This system includes quality standards, operating procedures, programs, initiatives and actions aimed at improving the products, services and skills of companies and operators in the protected natural areas.
The Federparchi National System offers a traveling program developed in collaboration with IRVEA Parks and Reservesto promote services, operations and transversal skills in the field of territorial valorization and environmental protection in a uniform and widespread manner in the protected natural areas of regional territorial coordinations.
The training process
The activities of the Federparchi National System include training to obtain the qualification from Guardiaparco, operator for territorial valorization and environmental protection. This course, spread over three weekends, trains professionals with technical and legal multidisciplinary skills in the field of territorial valorization and environmental protection, with particular attention to prevention of poaching, fires and spills, for the to protect of biodiversity and ecosystems in parks, reserves, oases and protected natural and marine areas.
Once selected, the participants will be able to gain operational experience and carry out curricular activities in the various territorial coordinations of Federparchi present in all regions. The number of places is limited and will be allocated in chronological order in which registrations are received.
Certificates and recognitions
After the basic course there is a specialist course of at least three weekends, with in-depth analysis of the various topics related to framework law L.394/91 on protected natural areas, in the areas of control, prevention and control of poaching, illegal waste and spill management, criminal and administrative offenses related to environmental conservation, promotion and protection.
At the end of the entire training and after obtaining a final exam for multiple choice questions, Federparchi will issue a certificate with the qualification of Auxiliary Park Ranger.
This qualification is valid for access to the role of Auxiliary Park Ranger in the supervisory structures of park authorities and public and private organizations in the protected natural areas of the Federparchi National System of regional territorial coordinations.
The title is also valid for participation in competitions for the role of park ranger, assistant park ranger or operator for territorial development and environmental protection in public and private agencies and organizations.
