Pianeta Terra Festival 2024: focus on natural communities

FROM 3 TO 6 OCTOBER, LUCCA WILL HOST THE PIANETA TERRA FESTIVAL. AN EVENT BASED ON COOPERATION AND SUSTAINABILITY. OVER NINETY MEETINGS, MORE THAN A HUNDRED GUESTS BETWEEN SCIENTISTS, PHILOSOPHERS, ARTISTS AND INNOVATORS, ALL GATHERED TO REFLECT ON THE IMPORTANCE OF NATURAL COMMUNITIES AS A FUNDAMENTAL ENGINE OF EVOLUTION

A Festival to reflect on natural cooperation

Dal 3 to 6 October 2024il Planet Earth Festival return to Luccaunder the direction of Stefano Mancusoto explore the theme of “natural communities” and cooperation as an evolutionary force. Designed by Laterza Publishers and promoted by Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundationthe festival will see the participation of over 100 guests including scientists, philosophers, writers and artists, with a program full of events, workshops and reflections on sustainability, symbiosis and alliances between species.

Solos, dialogues and many guests

Among the numerous internationally renowned guests, Telmo Pievani will talk about altruistic behavior in nature, while Laura Crispini will take us to discover Antarctica. Dario Fabbri will offer an analysis of the ecological crisis through a geopolitical lens, and Gaia Vince will delve deeper into the phenomenon of climate migrations. The theologian Vito Mancuso and astrophysics Ersilia Vaudo Scarpetta they will argue about the universe, and Franco Arminio will guide us in a reflection on the sacred nature of everyday life.

The neuroscientist was also present, Vittorio Gallesewhich will talk about our relational nature, while Vittorio Lingiardi will explore the harmony between body and spirit. Among other guests, Tomaso Montanari will challenge contemporary individualism and Maria Rescigno will illustrate the link between the brain and the gut. Energy Transition and Waste Management
