Pay attention and ‘actively’ work together to make our planet more sustainable.
Useful tips:
- Avoid using cleansers or products contained in sponges. These include: Olay Daily Facials, Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes, Olay Regenerist Eye Derma Pod, Pond’s Exfoliating Cleansing Towelettes and others. They are more expensive and do not respect the common cause of preserving nature. They are not necessary, you can achieve the same effect with the normal cleanser and exfoliant and as needed BIO infinitely better.
- Avoid disposable disinfectant towels or removing makeup or nail polish, get to work and act accordingly.
- Avoid scrubs with plastic beads. It is difficult to identify them, but among them are: Olay Body Wash Plus Spa Exfoliating Ribbons, Dove Gentle Exfoliating Foaming Facial Cleanser and Clean & Clear Daily Pore Cleanser. The microplastics contained in these products cause ‘irreversible’ damage to marine animals that ingest them. There are many natural options for exfoliants.
- Avoid products that are single use or disposable, the planet has ‘limited’ resources.
- The more packaging/box/presentation the products have, the more waste is created. Forget the packaging, it has no influence on the effectiveness of the products. In general, it is better if they have dark bottles, but advanced boxes are not necessary at all.
- If your favorite product comes in a large plastic box, like some of the Olay creams, send an email to the company recommending that it be changed. If companies receive a lot of messages, they will take into account your recommendations, it is not worth sitting around.
- Avoid products in small jars, opt for normal sizes.
- Avoid devices that use electricity, such as facial cleansers. They are not necessary and use energy that we do not have.
- There are many ingredients that are harmful to the environment and health. Choose ecological brands, it is your duty to leave the legacy to your children and grandchildren.
