Camino dei Volcano Blues: music, history and nature

INAUGURED IN RECENT DAYS, THE “WALK OF THE BLUES VOLCANOES”. A PROJECT THAT COMBINES THE HISTORICAL AND GEOLOGICAL STORY OF THE TERRITORY WITH THE SUGGESTIONS OF BLUES MUSIC, DISCOVERING THE WONDERS OF THE SABATINI MOUNTAINS AND THE ROMAN TUSCIA. THE INITIATIVE TAKES PLACE IN THE AUGUSTINIAN MONASTERY OF BRACCIANO.

A trip that combines culture, nature and music

The event was the first of a series of meetings who accompanied the audience along the Path of the volcanoes. A route of 110 kilometers divided into six stages. From Oriolo Romano and arrival in Cerveterithis route is not just a path to follow, but a journey through the geological history of the Sabatini Mountains, former volcanoes today transformed into natural parks and archaeological reserves. Thanks to the intervention of the archaeologist Settimio Cecconi and the geologist Umberto Pessolanothe public will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the age-old roots of this area.

The “Camino dei Volcanoes” is a route of 110 kilometers divided into six stages. Departing from Oriolo Romano and arriving in Cerveteri, this route is not a journey through the geological history of the Sabatini Mountains, former volcanoes now transformed into natural parks and archaeological reserves.

Volcanoes told through music

A project to strengthen nature

With the contribution of the municipality of Bracciano and the cooperation of local authorities, the “Path of the Blues Volcanoes” presents itself as an opportunity to do so rediscover an often overlooked landscape. The project involves more than 100 people, turning the initiative into a major choral project in honor of the beauty and complexity of Roman Tuscia.
