Cervera H2ENRY Project: the grand alliance to promote Green Hydrogen

Cervera H2ENRY project: Foundation Cidaut is the coordinating Technological Center of the new Cervera project H2ENRY in which they participate Here (Andalusian Association for Industrial Research and Cooperation), Energy Lab (Technological Center for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability), ITE (Energy Technology Institute) and the Technology Center light. This 5 technology centers come together in a great alliance to… Green hydrogen.

Under the name of “H2ENRY”This initiative is intended promoting research and implementation of sustainable solutions for the production, storage and application of green hydrogen around the decarbonization of the Spanish industry.

The collaboration between these technology centers – AICIA, CIDAUT, EnergyLab, ITE and Leitat – represents a wide range of sectors and experience in key areas related to the green hydrogen.

He green hydrogen has become increasingly noticed as one clean and versatile energy source that can play a fundamental role in the transition to a more sustainable energy future. To achieve this, it is crucial to address the technical and economic challenges associated with their large-scale production, storage and application. It is here where the Cervera H2ENRY project tries to make a difference.

He Cervera H2ENRY project will be carried out over the next 20 months, with a delivery date of June 2025. The project has the characteristicsgrant from the CDTI and support from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. «Cervera Centers of Excellence».

The results and progress made during this period are expected to have a lasting impact on advancing solutions for green hydrogen at a global level and achieve a cleaner planet thanks to the disappearance of the ecological footprint.
