An interdisciplinary laboratory to reconsider our relationship with water

The heart of the exhibition: The work “Purifier 2”
The most important installation is “Purifier 2”Made by Enzo and Barbara in collaboration with the artist and designer Marco Selmin. The work, halfway between sculpture and machine, simulates a continuous and automated treatment system, managed via Arduino. The mechanism transmits a liquid cyclically between two containers, which symbolically reminds a purification cycle.
“Purifier 2” represents an evolution of earlier research and deals The problem of infection From substances such as PFAs, heavy metals, herbicides and microplastics, which often escape from even the most advanced treatments. “The work doubted the boundaries of existing technologies and opens for new intervention views”the artists explain it.
An experience between generative art and biotechnology
The exhibition presents itself as a compelling experience that integrates generative art, biotechnological practices and multimedia installation. The aim is to generate alternative visions that are able to inspire ecological and social transformations through a critical and participatory approach.

The protagonists: artists, curators and creatives between art and technology
The initiative was born of the synergy between different actors of contemporary artistic panorama. The duo Enzo and Barbara, formed by Riccardo Lodi and Greta Fabrizio, has been active since 2022 and focuses on the relationships between technological innovation, environment and society through works “Site-specific” And compelling installations.
In addition to them there is the project “Basic” by Marco Selmin, dedicated to “Creative coding” And digital design with strong attention to the impact of technologies in cultural contexts.
Vincenzo Alessandria, born in 1995, is a designer and curator. After the formation between Perugia and Venice, he developed a multidisciplinary approach that combines visual art, graphic design and curatorial research, whereby the transformations of human practices are investigated over time and space.
A proposal for an active and conscious citizenship
“Osmotic process” It is aimed at a varied audience: artists, researchers, professionals in the cultural sector, students, institutions and citizens who are interested in understanding how art can become an active tool for change and ecological reflection.
