Green and landscape festival. Rethink the cities

In the heart of the cities, green becomes infrastructure, culture and lifestyle. The XIV edition of the Green and Landscape Festival, in Rome, explores the link between man and nature, offering ideas and solutions to build more sustainable, liveable spaces and in harmony with the environment

Cities can really breathe. Green is not only a decorative element, but an essential infrastructure, a cultural expression and a conscious lifestyle. The change is already underway: the XIV edition of the Green and landscape festival He tells it, analyzes him and transforms it into concrete experience.

From 4 to 6 April, the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, in the capital, will host the largest Italian event dedicated to the culture of green. This edition presents itself as an authentic manifesto for the future, an invitation to imagine and build more liveable, sustainable and aware cities.

For three days, experimental gardens, meetings with experts, workshops, outdoor design, sustainable nutrition and interactive workshops will involve the public of all ages, offering inspirations and solutions for a new way of living in the world.

Green is not only trend, but identity, resistance and resource

Il verde It does not represent a simple passenger fashion, but an expression of belonging, an act of resistance and a vital resource. The XIV edition of the Festival explores the concept of biophilia, the profound link between man and nature, transforming the idea of “Nature as a home” in a tangible experience.

The safeguarding of the landscape, the culture of green, biodiversity and environmental education are no longer optional choices, but essential needs. The garden becomes a laboratory for the future, gardening a gesture of care and collective responsibility.

Institutions, urban planners, architects, landscapeists, garden designers, craftsmen and nurserymen will confront a fundamental principle: green is not only aesthetic, but a strategic resource for collective well -being and for the transformation of cities.

“We have lost direct contact with nature, believing that we are separated, yet its call reaches us every day: when we walk in a park, we cultivate a terrace, we choose seasonal foods. The real challenge is to make our homes and more biofilic cities, welcoming the interconnection between the species to finally recognize part of a single great life cycle”says Gaia Zadra, founder of the Festival.

Four paths to rediscover the link with nature

Visitors will be able to explore four thematic paths, each dedicated to a different way of living green and to rediscover the link with nature in everyday life. From forests and natural reserves, physical and mental regeneration shelters, to the design of more sustainable cities.
