Festival “Impatta disrupt”: Italy at the center of global innovability

The three days of the Italian Festival of Innovability, “Impatta Disrupt”peak event conceived by Earth Day Italia Through the Think Tank impacts. The Festival celebrates the “World Creativity and Innovation Day”, established by the United Nations To accelerate the achievement of the 17 sustainable development objectives of the 2030 Agenda.

Until Wednesday 16 April 2025, exponents of politics, finance and economy will dialogue with civil society and the media. The goal is to enhance the potential of Italian innovation to give a new momentum green Renaissance.

Innovation is an integral part of the Italian national identity. The United Nations symbolically set this day six days after the birth of Leonardo da Vinci. Despite this, Italy has not yet fully expressed its potential in the field of sustainable innovation.

Looking at foreign models is useful, but must not obscure the uniqueness of the Italian genius. In the country’s DNA there are the qualities necessary to guide a profound change.

Administrative, political and financial institutions are called to a constructive comparison. The goal is to unlock the country’s innovative resources and create an ecosystem in favor of sustainability.

During the festival, investments, digital infrastructures, and holistic visions of a harmonic future are discussed. The event does not want to be a simple showcase of good practices. It is a laboratory of ideas for tightening alliances, generating shared visions and designing the quality leap in the country system. Innovation must improve the quality of life on the planet, not only to make it more comfortable.

“Impatta disrupt”: ideas, visions and solutions

The morning opened with the greetings of Pierluigi Sassi, president of Earth Day Italia. Immediately afterwards, Enrico Giovannini, scientific director of Asvis, presented the cover of the Festival. Cristina Finucci, president of the Garbage Patch State, spoke of “Artificial intelligence and plastic archipelagos”.

The intervention of Francesco Cicione, founder of Harmonic Innovation Group, on the topic followed “Innovate for a harmonious future”. Then space for the artistic performance “Demial intelligence” by Pippo Lorusso and Claudio Sacco. Mario Nobile, general manager of Agid, closed the first segment of the morning.
