International Forum “Forests in the face of climate change”, October 23 and 24 in Soria

Soria will organize a unique event, which will analyze the future of forests in the face of the reality of climate change and its dire consequences. ‘Forests against Climate Change’ is an international forum taking place between October 24 and 25.

Soria will be the scene of a debate on the future of forests as host of the International Forum “Forests in the face of climate change”. It will take place on October 23 and 24 and will address the key aspects affecting our forest masses in a context such as the current climate crisis.

In concrete terms: the project LIFE Soria ForestAdapt who is one of the coordinators of the event, tailored to the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan 2021-2030will present the conclusions of four years of work aimed at strengthening the resilience of forest ecosystems and their integration into regional and European policies.

The forum program includes the participation of experts from various disciplines, from forest management to technological solutionsthrough the most social vision and the most conservation approach, always united by the challenge of adapting to the climate change.
