Spain will produce a new fuel that changes the atmospheric context
The engines are already warming up for the installation of an agro-industrial biogas plant Almeria. The plant production of biogas and fertilizers from agricultural waste planned in the capital of Almería is already preparing. This innovative project is already finalizing the details and preparing the necessary documentation to obtain municipal permission to start work in the city center Los Medina Caves.

It is forecast that more than 95,000 tonnes of agricultural waste will be processed annually, yielding 81,000 tonnes of fertilizer and renewable gas.

“The factory will produce biomethane, which will be supplied to the gas pipeline Enagasvia biogas derived from the use of agricultural waste,” reports RIC energy on his web page. And he adds: “The treatment of waste will also make it possible to generate fertilizers adapted to the crops in the area.”
The companies falling within the scope will, in addition to a reduction in fertilizer costs, also benefit from the benefits of correct waste processing. The project will therefore provide a major boost to the circular economy. This plant is advertised as “the southernmost biogas plant in Europe” and its construction and subsequent operation will require an investment of approximately 12 million euros. It will create approximately 10 direct and 40 indirect jobs.
