Net Zero Tech Fair: ‘Energy Savings Certificates’ (CAE) are valued in the energy transition

They advertise all over the world very ambitious projects that strive for climate neutrality and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants. As a result, technological solutions are in the process of development and implementation.

During the two days of the Net Zero Tech event, visitors can experience the most innovative and efficient solutions, which a transition to efficient, comprehensive and applicable climate neutrality.

Feria Net Zero Tech 2025

The second edition of the Efficient Tech conference, to be held on June 4 and 5 during the Net Zero Tech 2025 Fair in Barcelona, has as its central theme the Energy Saving Certificates (CAE). This event brings together experts, companies and organizations from the energy sector to discuss the role of CAEs in improving energy efficiency in various sectors.

The day is organized by the National Association of Energy Efficiency Companies (A3E)the National Association of Energy Service Providers (ANESE)and the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC). During the two days of the event, progress in the implementation of the CAE and its impact on the public, industrial and tertiary/residential sectors will be discussed in detail, as well as its contribution to reducing the environmental footprint. To do this, there will be the participation of delegated, mandatory and controlling subjects, who will bring their vision and experience to the application of these systems, enriching the debate and the proposed solutions.

Antonio López-Nava, General Manager of A3Ehighlights the relevance of the CAE system as a driver of the energy efficiency market: “The CAE system changes the rules of the game by allowing companies to receive financial compensation for their energy efficiency investments, which will improve both their competitiveness and improves their sustainability by reducing energy consumption and polluting emissions.

At A3E we have worked with MITECO to develop this system, contributing to the creation of standardized sheets and dissemination nationally through our CAE route. This model is a unique opportunity for energy-intensive sectorsand we believe that Efficient technology 2025 “It will be crucial to extend its benefits to Catalonia and the whole of Spain.”

“We are very pleased to co-organize this congress for another year, which in this edition focuses on such a transcendental topic for the economic development of the energy sector, such as the CAE,” said the Chairman of the Cluster of Efficient Energy of Catalonia, Joaquim Daura, who believes that these certificates are a “fundamental” mechanism for promote the energy market through the participation of private initiatives and the main players in the sector. “Given the progress of European regulations, the CAEs are the ideal addition for the energy efficiency sector to continue growing in line with the decarbonization and energy transition objectives,” he added.

For his part, Carlos Ballesteros, General Manager of ANESE: “From the association, we continue to support Net Zero Tech, because it is an important forum with decarbonization of the economy as its central axis. This edition’s powerful conference program, which covers topics such as CAE and energy efficiency, fits in perfectly with this our goal to promote sustainability and continue to meet the challenge of transition towards decarbonising businesses and society.

At ANESE we have the representation and voice of all the key actors of the CAE mechanism and our goal is to continue working with the Ministry to improve and perfect the system. This year we will continue to work together to develop new standardized sheets and promote this important tool within the actions.s of the energy efficiency of the public sector and other sectors of the economy.

For all these reasons, this edition we are strongly committed to Efficient Tech, organizing roundtables at the CAE, being exhibitors and mobilizing our employees to contribute to the fair, which will be held in Barcelona and national projection. consolidates itself as an important space for information and debate and business opportunities for key industry players.

On June 4, the day starts with a institutional round table at the CAE, in which representatives of the three organizing entities will participate, as well as members of the national (MITECO) and regional administration (ICAEN / Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition).

On that day, They will develop three more specific roundtable discussions: one focused on CAEs in the public sector; another that will address CAEs in the industrial sector; and a final table dedicated to CAEs in the tertiary and residential sectors.

These sessions will allow us to analyze the challenges and opportunities presented by CAEs in each of these sectors, addressing key issues such as financing models, adjustment of regulations and enabling technologies.

On June 5, the focus will be on the success stories of the CAEs, with three blocks dedicated to sharing practical experiences and results in the implementation of these systems. Participants will be able to learn first-hand about the best practices and results achieved in energy efficiency. These presentations include notable projects that have demonstrated significant reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissionswhich shows the tangible impact of CAEs on the path to sustainability.

Construction and electromobility

New to this edition, Efficient Tech will include innovative thematic sessions in the afternoon sessions that reflect current trends in energy sustainability. On June 4, a block will be dedicated to electromovilidadwhich addresses its role in the transition to cleaner and more efficient transport, while it will focus on that on June 5 sustainable constructionexploring advanced solutions to improve energy efficiency in this important sector.

With this program, the Efficient Tech conference promises to become a reference point for all actors involved in the energy transition, highlighting the importance of CAEs as a tool for energy transition. achieve sustainability and climate neutrality objectives.
