In an interview with the online newspaper “Italy that changes”, the president, Brunetti, tells the birth of the project, inspired by the documentary The True Cost, who made it aware of the negative impact of the Fast Fashion. PLAMA Plaza thus transformed into a collective of about sixty women engaged in sustainable fashion initiatives and urban regeneration.
The project aims to involve the inhabitants, offering educational and cultural opportunities, such as the Swap Party organization where teenagers can exchange objects and clothing.
The Association collaborates with public bodies such as the Municipality of Milan and the Ministry of Culture, foundations such as Moleskine and Cariplo, as well as with reality of sustainable fashion, including the fashion chamber. Thanks to a strong team spirit and driving Erica Brunetti, Plaza plot continues to grow as a reference point for a more ethical and inclusive textile sector.
