On the occasion of the World Biodiversity DayOn May 22, 2025, the 3BEE Environmental Innovation Company launched an ambitious international initiative: the XNatura Regeneration Awards. A price of € 15 thousand devoted to those who work on the field to bring the lost spaces back to nature, through concrete, measurable and replicable environmental regeneration projects
Biodiversity and sustainable development: a possible balance
This year’s theme, “In harmony with nature and sustainable development”invites us to reconsider the relationship between progress and the environment. Imagine a future in which social goods, protection of ecosystems and development can co -exist.
In this context, the Xnatura Regeneration Awards represent a concrete commitment and offers financial support to three meritable projects that are capable of Converting relegated areas into new oasis of biodiversity.
A chance to regenerate and inspire
The prices are open to country owners around the world. The aim is to select a maximum of three projects that can activate virtuous regeneration processes. Every winning project gets one Economic contribution of 15 thousand eurosdivided into 5 thousand euros per year for three years, from 2026. To apply, the participants will have to present a detailed proposal, including a three -year plan that shows how the intervention will contribute to the recovery of biodiversity and to the improvement of local ecosystems.
Selection and monitoring: Science and transparency
The projects will be evaluated by a jury of experts, according to four fundamental criteria:
- Innovation of the proposed solutions
- Feasibility and applicability of the project
- Environmental and regenerative impact
- Sustainability and replicability of the intervention
The monitoring platform XnaturaDeveloped by 3BEE, will both be used to select the most promising proposals and to observe the evolution of the long -term projects, to guarantee transparency and measurable results.
