The first announcement of Partart4OW is opened
The first announcement of Partart4OW is officially opened, a European project financed by Horizon Europe which promotes participatory art initiatives that combine art, science and innovative practices. The announcement invites the collaboration between the cultural, creative, scientific sectors and the organizations of civil society, to create projects that sensitize the local communities on the protection of marine ecosystems and internal waters.
Partart4OW: Objectives and purposes
In a global context, now increasingly characterized by climate change and environmental degradation, Partart4ow undertakes to promote innovative and interdisciplinary approaches that combine art, science and community action.
The announcement focuses on the communities close to oceans, rivers and water basins, facing the environmental and social problems of these areas. The projects must be sustainable, using ecological materials, circular solutions and renewable energies, with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality.
The selected initiatives will receive funding, tutoring and networking opportunities, thanks to an acceleration program designed to optimize their effectiveness and visibility. The goal is to maximize the impact of the proposals, directly involving the communities and inspiring concrete actions.
Who can participate?
The Open Call is open to a wide range of candidates, including: artists, creatives, cultural and artistic institutions, scientists, researchers and scientific organizations, civil society organizations and local communities.
Individuals, legal entities and consortia from EU member states or from third countries associated or in negotiation for a association agreement with Horizon Europe can participate.
The important thing is that the projects presented are scientifically solid, innovative from an artistic point of view, inclusive and able to generate a significant social impact.
