The water reserve in Spain, according to MITECO, today is 28,839 cubic hectometers

The water reserve in Spain is at 51.5% of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 28,839 cubic hectometers (hm³) of water, increasing in the last week by 73 cubic hectometers (0.1% of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).

The water reserve, according to MITECO, today is by area and is as follows:

  • Eastern Cantabrian is at 86.3%
  • Western Cantabrian at 62.9%
  • Miño-Sil at 56.5%
  • Galicia Costa at 79.5%
  • Internal basins of the Basque Country 100%
  • Duero at 62.4%
  • Cut at 55.9%
  • Guadiana at 41.3%
  • Red, Odiel and Piedras at 82.5%
  • Guadalete-Barbate at 28.5%
  • Guadalquivir at 35.1%
  • Andalusian Mediterranean Basin at 29.4%
  • Safe at 21.2%
  • Júcar at 49.3%
  • Ebro at 72%
  • Internal basins of Catalonia at 34.6%

Precipitation has been abundant on the Mediterranean slope and has considerably affected the Atlantic slope. The maximum occurred in Bilbao (A) – Bilbo (A) with 84.9 mm (84,9 l/m²).
