The water reserve Spain is at 51.7% of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 28,953 cubic hectometers (hm³) of water, decreasing in the last week by 20 cubic hectometers (0.0% of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).

The water reserve by areas according to the MITECO is the following:

  • Western Cantabrian at 64.3%
  • Miño-Sil at 53.6%
  • Galicia Coast at 82.3%
  • Internal basins of the Basque Country at 95.2%
  • Duero at 63.9%
  • Cut at 53.8%
  • Guadiana at 41.2%
  • Red, Odiel and Piedras at 82.1%
  • Guadalete-Barbate at 28.3%
  • Guadalquivir at 35.2%
  • Andalusian Mediterranean Basin at 29%
  • Safe at 21.3%
  • Júcar at 49.9%
  • Ebro at 75.9%
  • Internal basins of Catalonia at 33.4%

The rainfall has considerably affected the Atlantic slope and to a lesser extent the Mediterranean slope. The maximum occurred in Vigo, with 71.5 mm (71.5 l/m2).
