The water reserve In Spain it is at 50% of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 28,040 cubic hectometers (hm³) of water, increasing in the last week by 863 cubic hectometers (1.5% of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).

The water reserve by areas is the following:

  • Eastern Cantabrian is at 90.4%
  • Western Cantabrian at 75.9%
  • Miño-Sil at 67.4%
  • Galicia Costa at 73.7%
  • Internal basins of the Basque Country at 90.5%
  • Duero at 65.3%
  • Cut at 56%
  • Guadiana at 40.2%
  • Red, Odiel and Piedras at 71.2%
  • Guadalete-Barbate at 21.2%
  • Guadalquivir at 32.3%
  • Andalusian Mediterranean Basin at 21.9%
  • Safe at 14.6%
  • Júcar at 40.1%
  • Ebro at 66.5%
  • Internal basins of Catalonia at 27.9%

The rainfall has considerably affected the entire peninsula. The maximum occurred in Navacerrada with 136.0 mm (136,0 l/m²).
