Trucksters and DHL will use renewable fuels from Cepsa

The companies DHL and Trucksters have decided to opt for the use of Cepsa’s innovative renewable fuels. This will be an important contribution to embarking on the necessary path towards decarbonisation of Europe’s long-distance transport routes.

Trucksters, the technological carrier based on truck relays, has decided to do this Cepsa and its network of gas stations to supply it 100% renewable diesel trucks (HVO).

In concrete terms, Trucksters will use this biofuel in the trucking service. road freight transport covering several DHL routes connecting northern Spain with Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Poland.

In this way, companies stimulate decarbonising long-distance road transport in Europewith a delivery network that meets the needs of Trucksters’ international routes.

Cepsa produces this 100% renewable diesel in the La Rábida Energy Park (Huelva) from used cooking oil. Therefore, it is a second generation (2G) biofuel that, in addition to reducing CO2 emissions without the need to make modifications to vehicles, also circular economy.
